An afternoon with Chef Sanjeev Kapoor

Friday afternoon Team AAW got a chance to meet the most popular Chef of India, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor at LT Foods event held at Taj Mansingh, New Delhi.  Besides Sanjeev Kapoor some other renowned Chefs like Manjeet Gill and Chef Joseph Johnson, a highly awarded chef from New York were also present at the event. Sanjeev Kapoor  and Chef JJ interacted with  the guests and also did a live cooking session using Daawat basmati rice. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor prepared a vegetable briyani ,gave few rice cooking tips too and also talked about his association with the brand.

While interacting Chef JJ said  that he is in love with India and he just can’t get enough of its vibrant flavours, spices, and culture. He also added that” To be around and see where authentic basmati rice is grown, and to meet the local farmers has been a game changer for me!  Thanks to Royal Basmati and LTFA I have a whole new respect for one of my favourite types of rice to cook with. And I can’t wait to get back and share some of my journey in some new dishes I will create using Basmati rice and all that I have learned about Indian food and Culture!”
