A Delhi court has restrained Sanjay Leela Bhansali from releasing his latest film Ram-Leela.

The court has considered the plea that Ram-Leela, which is slated for an all-India release on November 15, allegedly hurts religious sentiments. Ram Leela is said to hurt the sentiments of Hindus as it contains sex, violence and vulgarity.

Incidentally, the Delhi high court had earlier refused to ban the movie and had imposed a fine of 50,000 INR on an NGO for filing a plea against the film.

The court agreed to plea after six petitioners including Prabhu Samaj Dharmik Ram Leela Committee filed the case. According to the case, they said that people associate the word Ram Leela with Lord Rama and people will watch this movie expecting it to be related to his life and this might hurt religious sentiments.

Ram Leela stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Do you think the film might not see a release on November 15 or is this just a publicity stunt?
