Priyanka and Ram Charan’s Zanjeer has failed miserably at the box office while Parineeti’s Shuddh Desi Romance has sailed ahead.
Zanjeer was criticised both by critics and audience and managed to collect just Rs 3.58 crores on the first day and Rs 9 crore in the opening weekend. On the other hand Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti’s movie impressed the audience for its fresh cast and story line and collected above Rs 20 crore in its opening weekend.
Shudh Desi romance stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Vaani Kapoor and is directed by Maneesh Sharma. Parineeti is very happy with the response of the movie.
