Lakme has been advertising quite a lot about its new lipstick range 9 to 5 which claims to stay for 8 hours. The ads cajoled me to buy it. I have used it thrice and here is my take on this new lipstick
Claims: No claims have been mentioned except that it works from nine to five.
Packaging: It comes in a pinkish metallic outer cover. The shade name and number is mentioned at the bottom with a sticker and the outer paper carton has other details about the brand
Price: It is priced at INR 400 for 3.6 ml.
Pros: The product is worth a buy because
- It’s not very shiny and dry matte which is in vogue.
- It’s affordable and easily available.
- The matte finish is decent.
- Easily stays for 5 hours (though it claims to be 9 to 5)
- The packing is very attractive and easy to carry.
- The fragrance is very nice.
Cons: The only negative point is that it doesn’t fulfill its nine to five claim.
Rating: I would rate it 4.5 and would definitely buy another shade.
