Lakme Fashion Week Summer-Resort 2016 has started and we’re excited to see all the trendy collections being showcased on the runway. With the season’s most anticipated trends being displayed inside, some of the most interesting fashion moments also happen right outside the show venue. So ladies, it’s time to put your best fashion foot forward and make sure you’re worthy of the paparazzi’s attention.

Look 1: Bell sleeves being all over the international runways and retail stores, this one is a no brainer. A bright mini dress with large bell sleeves will create the right amount of drama. With a pair of block- heeled mules this combination is the trendiest.

Look 2: Fashion week is the time to take risks, and if you’re willing to experiment you should go all out. A contemporary look is bound to attract everyone’s attention. An ethnic skirt and a sleek black coat or blazer along with offbeat jewellery is definitely a winner.

Look 3: Those of you who still can’t get over Pantone’s 2015 colour, Marsala, don’t worry you’re not the only one! This gorgeous colour is still our favourite and combining it with the 2016 Pantone colour, Serenity, is the perfect amalgamation of past and present. Pair it up with unique pumps like these to give everyone some major shoe envy.

Look 4: For those who love the bohemian vibe, this year’s trends are made just for you. The combination of bell sleeves with a white off shoulder top is perfect. Combine it with a pleated midi skirt, another trending piece, and your outfit will be flawless. Take inspiration from models and celebrities and add a simple black choker to complete this chic look.

Look 5: If you’ve been following all the international fashion shows, this one will come as no surprise. Botanical prints look fresh and have a sensual feel to them. Contrast the delicacy of the top with an edgy pair of black culottes and you’ll look like you’re fresh off the runway. Add touch of quirky fun with pop art accessories.
