Haritha V Kumar, an engineer from Kerala has made women proud. She has topped the central services exam which is held to select candidates for elite services such as the IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS and for other central government jobs. The second in the list is V Sriram a doctor followed by Stuti Charan, who has a BSc from Jodhpur University.

Out of 998 more than 240 successful candidates are women . This is the third time in the row that a lady has topped the exam. In fact toppers in scheduled castes and tribes categories in the 2012 exam are also women.

The civil services (preliminary) examination 2012 was held on May 20 last year followed by a written examination in October 2012 and the final personality test conducted in March-April this year.

We are proud of all the lovely ladies who have secured a position for themselves as IPS, IA S and more. A heartiest congratulations to all of them from Team AAW.
