The memories of the Patiala gang rape and suicide case is still fresh and another incidence of gang rape has shocked Punjab. A 26 year-year-old nurse from Moga district was raped and dumped on Bathinda-Dabawali road on Sunday, two days after her abduction.
The girl was dragged into a car and was injected with some drug after which she fell unconscious. The girl was gang raped and filmed nude for two days.
Doctors have confirmed rape and the girl is critical. The case has been registered and the police is hunting for the culprits.
It’s shocking to see that just few days after a minor girl had ended her life in Patiala after the cops failed to take action against the rapists, another girl battles for life. Crime against women is increasing day by but the judicial system is still slow as in case of Delhi gang rape victim. Even after fast track court the justice is still pending.
We wish her a speedy recovery and punishment to the culprits.
