Roadies a show started by twin brothers Raghu and Rajiv Ram has become one of the most popular reality shows among the youngsters. The show has inspired many youngsters. The latest season of the show is over and this year a girl has taken the title of Roadies winner.
Shweta Mehta member of Neha Dhupia’s gang has won Roadies Rising, by winning the last task of the season against Baseer (Prince’s gang member). She was rejected three times before she got selected, but this time she impressed everyone in the audition through her power pack performance.She worked in I.T Company but later switched and became a professional body builder and fitness trainer.
Shweta consistently maintained her image in the show by performing all her tasks well, and her win was already predicted as she was one of the strongest constants on the show. On winning, Shweta said “This is definitely an amazing feeling. It’s a beautiful feeling that after trying 4 years for the show, I have finally won Roadies. Being associated with a cult show and winning it feels out of the world. Neha ma’am wanted a girl to win and I feel proud that I did not disappoint her.”
Shweta is the fourth female winner of the show in last 14 years. After getting a good number of female winners, we can say Roadies is a good platform for women to prove that they are strong as men. Cheers to girl power!! Congratulations Shweta Mehta on winning.
