26-year-old Shubham Mishra was arrested by the Vadodara police for hurling abuses at comedian Agrima Joshua in a video that went viral. The video made by him was full of derogatory remarks and was offended as the comedian made some joke on Shivaji Maharaj Statue, over a year ago.

The video was posted on Saturday and received backlash from a lot of influencers, activists, and many other people and Subham Mishra took his video down after a while. Suo moto action was taken against him by the Vadodara police and he was arrested on Saturday night.
Vadodara City Police took suo moto action in respect of an abusive, threatening video which was uploaded and shared on Social media by Shubham Mishra.

Agrima Joshua also apologized in a video and said she did not mean to hurt anyone in the audience and the joke wasn’t aimed to hurt any religious sentiments.
The arrest came after The National Commission for Women (NCW) demanded action from Vadodara Police.
