This cryptocurrency scam is straight out of ‘Money Heist’

Here is how people reacted to this cryptocurrency scam on Twitter.

 Twitter accounts of some of the most powerful public figures were presumably hacked on Wednesday night as suspicious activity was detected.  Twitter accounts of Bill Gates and Elon Musk fell prey to cryptocurrency scam and those weren’t the only two accounts that were hacked. 

Barack Obama, Warren Buffet, Joe Biden,  Bezos, Kim Kardashian and a few other celebrities posted a fishy tweet that promised people to double the amount of money if they were to transfer it to a certain wallet. Take a look at the tweets below: 

Such scams have been seen on Twitter previously but people are concerned about how safe it is for high profile celebrities to be on this microblogging platform. Twitter acknowledged this problem and said that they are already working on fixing this problem.
