Rajouri Garden is flooded with restaurants, cafés and lounge bars that offer varied cuisines from Indian to Italian. Two weeks back while on my way to a friend’s place I spotted this new eatery with very western and vintage wooden exteriors.

Somehow the place clicked me and I decide to give it a try. Yesterday while planning for a family dinner Global Food Factory came to my mind and we decided to go there to enjoy a meal with family. As my in-laws accompanied us so I inquired about its menu beforehand.

Mushroom with buttered rice

Food: The place offers a mix of Indian, Italian, Chinese, Tex Mex, American and Thai. They serve wood fired pizzas too. Since it offers a variety of cuisines so a bit of everything is available and not a detailed cuisine specific dishes.

Price: The place is a bit expensive but the huge portion sizes justifies the price.

Meal for Two: The place hasn’t got liquor licence yet so a meal for two with mocktails would cost you close to INR 2000.

Ambiance: The eatery offers a great ambiance and service. The restaurant is quite spacious with a mix seating from tall chairs to a dedicated private area. The décor is simple yet colourful with red bricks walls, wooden chairs and posters. The best thing about the seating is the tall chairs in newspaper print. As you enter there is a pastry shelf with few desserts on display only.

Service: The staff is very polite, quick and courteous and since it’s a newly opened joint the manager personally came to inquire about the food and service.

Virjin Mojito

Must Try: If here do try veg and non-veg London doner kebabs which are served with french fries , hummus and mayonnaise dip. There is not much choice for vegetarian pizzas so we settled for a special veggie pizza with broccoli, capsicum, mushroom onion and tomato toppings. The cheesy nachos topped with veggies and cheese is passable.. In Indian you can try the Chicken Gilafi, Paneer Pakhtooni Tiranga, and Chicken Tikka. For main course Mushroom or Chicken Stroganoff with buttered rice, Hyderabadi Biryani, Moroccan Lamb Burger, Mutton curry to name a few are few good bets. Sea food dishes like Chef Spl Mustard Fish & Wasabi Prawns Japanese Yakitori Sole Fish are also available so meat lovers can give it a try. The regular Indian fare is also good. For desserts you can try Churros , Tiramasu, Apple Pie and Chocolate Fondant.

Drinks: In mocktails Virgin Mojito Mango Quench, Melon Magic and Thai Breeze are few good bets.

Rating: 4.5/5

Would I visit again? Yes, I would definitely go again.

Tip: Since the place is not even a month old so they only accept cash for now.
