Connaught Place has become the place in the past few months has become ‘the’ place for drinks, dinner parting even! We have tried multiple places at Connaught Place, while some are great to party, some are great to have a beer. Now cocktail making is an art and many places get it wrong with too much alcohol that kills all flavours. So we rounded up the best cocktail place to pop in after work and enjoy a refreshing drink:
- Unplugged Courtyard: The beautiful courtyard with its refreshing cocktails is a must visit if you like your cocktails beautifully made. Do try their Nutty Jack a mix of JD and peanut butter, Aam Papad Caprioska and Giardino.
2. Farzi Café: Farzi has its own cult food with molecular gastronomy playing an important role. Must try their chai pani if you love iced tea, whiskey sour works if you like sour cocktails and apple foamtini.
3. Hotmess: This latest entrant in CP has the best Sangria in town. Also try their imly patola, pomegranate with ginger smoke martini. Their cocktail hookah is their USP, you can smoke the hookah and have the smoke infused cocktail underneath.
4. 38 Barracks: Most of their cocktails work well for summers, Regiment Spring a minty refreshing concoction, Barracks Special Mojito with its strawberry flavour, and Watermelon Mojito which they call is as a women’s special tastes splendid with chunks of watermelon.
5. Tamasha: This opulent place serve the best drinks to get drunk in CP. We love their molecular menu specials, the sangria de ciroco with smoked wine adds a new dimension to the sangria. Also try their Virgin apple Mojito, Bellini and the Chernobyl with vodka, blueberry, peach, ginger ale and a twist with orange perfume.
