Coffee review: Dunkin Donuts Connaught Place

Dunkin’ Black Coffee
Dunkin’ Black Coffee

There is something about Dunkin Donuts that will drag you to this place over and over. Reason is the scintillating aroma of freshly brewed coffee or the chic ambiance. Central Delhi’s ultimate hangout junction, Dunkin’ Donuts has always something nutty, something chocolicious to offer; this time they bring forth some new coffee varieties. I’ll suggest this place for a small reunion or friends get together. The coffee ranges offered here are ideal for a great round of chit chat.

Talking about the newly launched coffees, here is my review:
The first one is Bangalore Start-up coffee. Brewed with 100% Arabica roast coffee beans in boiling hot milk, this coffee tastes more like a filter coffee I find in my South Indian friend’s home. Also, it made me nostalgic as I recalled the taste of my first handmade coffee. You can take this with snacks offered here.
Then comes the Tough Guy Cappuccino, sober ones who do not take alcohol, this is not your thing. As the name suggests, this is the triple shot of dark roast espresso with a tint of brandy. At the end when the chef asked everyone “have you had the Tough Guy?” every girl present over there burst into laughter. (Laughs)

To heal the tough guy the next serve was Therapeutic Cappuccino. With richness of chocolate, cinnamon powder and dressing of whipped cream, I must say this was the best looking coffee. A big red cup of TC is a good pick for a long rainy chat as it is high in quantity. I personally liked this one.
The last one is Dunkin’ Black Coffee. Though I am not a black coffee girl but the chef assured that this does not taste like traditional black coffee as they mellowed it. But still it tastes like hot water with lemon. Not worth a shot.
Overall we can say that they have something for every tongue. Have a visit and write your review in the comment box.
