Festive season recipes with a twist

As festive season is in full swing, it’s again time of the year for get-togethers with family and friends. The festivals are incomplete without delicious food and fancy sweets so this Diwali give a delicious twist to your food with some scrumptious and quick recipes

Caramel cake

Ingredients

• Curd 100ml
• Veget oil 100ml
• Mayonnaise veg. 175gm
• Flour 200gm
• Sugar 165gm
• Baking powder 3gm
• Baking soda 3gm
• Cremica mix fruit jam as needed

Method

Preheat the oven to 160°c. Line the bottom of a 6 inch cake ring with silver foil or grease and flour a 6 inch cake tin. Mix the curd-mayonnaise and sugar well. Sift the flour-baking powder and baking soda and add to the mix. Fill in the cup-cakes molds or cake ring/tin and bake at 140° c. Now insert a wooden tooth pick or a knife and if it comes out clean. They are ready to eat.

Eggless cupcakes with mixes fruit jam

Ingredients

• App 200 gr fresh cream well chilled
• Sugar and vanilla extract as per taste
• Cremica mixed fruit jam as needed.

Method

Whip the cream-sugar and vanilla till stiff. Take the cold cup-cakes and pipe a nice rosace with an empty centre. Take a fork and mix well the jam till it gets smooth. With a spoon fill the centre with the Cremica mixed fruit jam and sprinkle with some chopped pistachio nuts or garnish with a mint leave.

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup Browniescut in Cubes

• 1⁄4 Cup Amul Fresh Cream

• Sugar as needed to sweeten the Amul Cream

• Vanilla Flavour or Essence

• 2 tbsp Cashew Nuts roasted and roughly chopped

• Cremica Chocolate Syrup

• Fresh Mint Leaves
Method

Cut the brownies into small Cube so that they fit well into the Glass.Roast the Cashew Nuts in the Oven till golden Brown and chopped roughly.Fill the shot Glass to 1/3 with the Brownie Cubes.Drizzle some Cremica Chocolate Syrup on top and sprinkle with a few Nuts.Whip the Amul Fresh  cream till it becomes stiff and fill the Glass till 2/3 with the Cream.Finalize with another drizzle of Cremica Chocolate Syrup.Garnish with a sprinkle of some more Nuts and a Fresh Mint Leave.

Kiwi salsa

Ingredients

• 1 kiwi cut in small cubes
• (assure the kiwi is not to ripe or it could mash up)
• 2 tsp of tomato fine chopped
• ½ tsp of coriander fine chopped
• 1/2 cup mexican salsa

Method

Mix all ingredients and season with salt and pepper
