Two weeks ago Ekta Kapoor became a mother and welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy and recently the producer and filmmaker hosted a traditional naamkaran ceremony for the little munchkin. The name has been named Ravie. The ceremony was attended by almost every television celebrity, everyone came and blessed the little baby.
Ekta’s friends from Bollywood including Karan Johar, Shweta Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shamita Shetty, and Sawara Bhasker also attended the ceremony and made it a star-studded event.
The television stars who graced the occasion were Sriti Jha, Hiten Tejwani, Karishma Tanna, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Kanchi Kaul, Sakshi Tanwar, Smriti Irani, Krystle D’Souza, Divyanka Tripathi Mona Singh, Surbhi Jyoti, Ankita Bhargava, Anita Hassanandani, Vikas Gupta, Urvashi Dholakia, and Erica Fernandes.

While the fans have not yet seen a glimpse of the newborn baby, Ekta shared this news with a lovely post on social media. “By God’s grace, I have seen many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul being added in my world. I cannot even begin to express how happy my baby’s birth has made me. Everything in life doesn’t go the way you want it to but there are always solutions to those hiccups. I found mine and today I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It is an emotional moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to begin this new journey of being a mother,” She wrote.
