Bappi Lahiri passes away at the age of 69!

Legendary Music Composer Bappi Lahiri dies at the age of 69: 

Music composer and singer Bappi Lahiri passed away at the age of 69 in Mumbai. As per reports, Bappi Lahiri passed away around 11.40 – 11.45 on Tuesday night. The composer has been ailing for many weeks and was suffering from Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

He was famous for his contribution in revolutionizing the sound of disco music in India, Lahiri also contributed significantly to the soundtrack of Bollywood movies in the 80s and 90s.

The singer’s last appearance on the screen was with Salman Khan on the reality show Bigg Boss 15, where he was promoting his grandson Swastik’s new song ‘Baccha Party’.

In April last year, the singer had been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital after testing positive for Covid. He recovered after a few days.
