Few lesser known facts about Tubelight

Eid is two days away and as per the tradition, Salman Khan’s new film Tubelight has been released. In the film Salman Khan is playing a role of a man who is slow in learning and taking up things.  This is the third time, Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are working together after giving successful hits like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Kabir Khan stated he has spent prolonged time on post production of the film. We are sure you must have read the review about the film but Team AAW tells you few lesser known facts about Tubelight.

  •  Tubelight is inspired from the Hollywood movie “A little Boy”, which show the journey of a boy who stops on-going war between two countries and find his father who is missing from war site. Kabir Khan had taken a NOC certificate from the Kannada filmmakers, who made the film with the same name.
  • Shah Rukh Khan is playing a cameo in the film. Salman Khan stated that Shah Rukh Khan didn’t listen to the whole conversation before saying yes. SRK’s role will bring a turning point in the film.

  • Tubelight will be offering some amazing scenic views to the audience, as the shooting was done in Manali and Ladakh, which was finished in Mumbai where huge set was constructed.
  •    In the movie you will see real brothers Salman and Sohail sharing the screen, but Sohail Khan was not the first choice for the role. According to the reports , Akshay Kumar was one of the names among three names to play the brother of Salman Khan in the movie. Later the director was convinced by the act of real brothers, so he finalized Sohail Khan.
  • Tublight also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu in the lead, it is the first Indian film which will be released in China.

  • Matin rey the child actor in the film is also playing an important role. Salman Khan thinks the five year old actor will also gain popularity like Harshali Malhotra(his co-star in Bajrangi Bhaijaan).
  • After surprising the audience with the trailer and music videos of the film, the makers have taken it to the international level; few posters of the film were featured in New York’s Times Square.
