Twitter is loaded with memes as netizens troll Indian Idol Judges for faking tears and being overdramatic:
It was not a long time ago that Bollywood singer and winner of Indian Idol-Season 1 Abhijeet Sawant sparked controversy for slamming the show for focusing on ‘fake love stories’ and ‘poverty’. Also the host of the show Aditya Narayan and one of the judges Neha Kakkar also came under questioning for creating fake marriage rumors on the sets. Another singing star, Sonu Nigam also said that sob stories of reality shows are just marketing techniques.
The female judge Neha Kakkar is often seen crying at the show. And they also focus on contestants who are from poor family backgrounds and they run their story again and again.
All these statements made people criticize one of the successful singing reality TV shows and its judges for being melodramatic. Soon enough, people started trolling the show and #IndianIdol memes and jokes surfaced online.
