Ram Kapoor of Bade Achche Lagte Hai fame is planning to quit the tele-soap. According to the recent promos of a special episode, an integration of Bade Achche Lagte Hain and Kya Huaa Tera Vaada, indicates Ram will be shot by Anushka while protecting wife Priya and will be taken to a hospital. But doctors inform his family that they couldn’t save him.
Ram Kapoor has acted in couple of Bollywood films like Udaan, Agent Vinod and Student Of The Year and it seems that Ram wants to quit small screen to concentrate on his filmy career. His upcoming releases are Love U Mr Kalakaar, a Marathi film called Maaee, Mira Nair’s Midnight’s Children and Yashraj’s Mere Dad Ki Maruti. Ram who plays a business tycoon in the show has a huge fan following and his move will affect the TRP’s too.
The soap is currently at a crucial juncture, considering an ongoing custody case between Ram and Priya for their daughter Pihu. The show is a cult favourite and has won many awards. But would you like to watch the show minus Ram Kapoor?
