Suraj Pancholi,son of an actor Aditya Pancholi to stay in judicial custody as the court has rejected the bail plea. It was rejected after the prosecution opposed it on the ground that investigations had reached a crucial stage and his release may hamper the probe.
Police had arrested Suraj on the basis of this letter issues by Jiah’s mother Rabiyah Khan which was found four days after her suicide at her house on June 3.
However, Suraj’s bail plea contended the five-page letter cannot be written before committing suicide and secondly it was not addressed to him and does not carry his name.
Suraj was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide on June 10.
