Dia seems to be in distress. The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board have rejected Dia’s petition to waive the interest and penalty component in the water bill of Rs 2.26 lakh at her Jubilee Hills residence.
The issues of water dues by the beautiful actor came to light after the Water Board pasted ‘Red Notices’ on her property according to which she was supposed to pay Rs 2.26 lakh dues for a water connection registered on her name. In general the Water Board general manager (division-VI) has power to reduce Rs 7,000 in the total dues while Chief general manager has power to reduce dues up to Rs 20,000. But in her case the chief general manager has rejected all her plea to waive off the interest and penalty as she did not respond to notices sent by the Water Board to clear dues.
Well Dia you seemed to be a responsible citizen but this clearly proves that you didn’t take the notices and alerts seriously.
