L’Oreal Super Liner Gelmatic Pen in Glamour Gold

Like every year, this year also L’Oreal came up with a special collection for Cannes Festival. The L’or Lumiere collection has Moist Matte Lipsticks, Color Riche Nail Colors, Infallible Mono Eye Shadows and Super Liner Gel Matic Eyeliners.  I saw every look and the glampor gold fascinated me. I went over a few Loreal counters in my search for Glamor Gold and I was in for a disappointment, read on to know why:

Product Description: An eyeliner that glides on seamlessly using micro gel pigments to ensure a smudge-proof look. Gel eyeliner is one of the hottest trends in makeup and Gel Matic’s convenient pen application is quick, precise and completely mess-proof. Innovative gel glide polymers and intense micro gel pigments create an intense colour pay-off that is smudge proof, gliding on for 12 hour wear. L’Oréal Paris introduces its first gel eye liner in a pen format.

Price:  It is priced at 425 INR for 0.3 grams.

Cons of L’Oreal Super Liner Gelmatic Pen from L’or Lumiere collection ‘Glamor Gold’

  • The formula is perfect it truly is a gel liner but the problem lies in the pigmentation. It has the weakest gold pigment after a few hard swipes all you get is a pale gold shade which honestly doesn’t appear on my lids!
  • It is expensive for the quantity provided.
  • The tip gets blunt and needs to be sharpened
  • Took me the longest time to find it.

Rating: 2/5, this was a downer but I am still willing to try the Gelmatic range and the black shade.
