Review: Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser

From past few months I have been losing hair especially during washes. To prevent hair fall I tried many shampoos and finally Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali line of products came to my rescue!

A friend of mine suggested me to try it out and it took me a while to find the product as availability is an issue. Finally, a few days back I found a store where Patanjali products were available and without much delay I picked it. I have been using this shampoo from last few days and there has been a noticeable reduction in hair fall. Here is my experience with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser:

Claims: It claims to prevent hair fall and dryness and make them thick and beautiful.

How to use: Apply 2-5 ml on wet hair, massage gently for 1 minute and then rinse with water.

Packaging: The packaging is very simple. It comes in yellow plastic bottle with orange flip-open cap.

Price: This shampoo is very economical just INR 35 for 100ml.

Pros: I like the Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Cleanser because:

  •     It’s a herbal shampoo.
  •     The shampoo is very economical.
  •     The orangey fragrance is very mild and refreshing.
  •     Fulfils its claim and reduces hair fall both during and after shampoo.
  •     The packaging is travel friendly.
  •     Makes the hair soft and shiny.

Cons: It’s a good product but the coin has other sides too:

  •     It lacks conditioning abilities. Without using a conditioner my hair went wavy and frizzy.
  •     It could not cleanse my scalp as it did not remove oil from the scalp and hair. After oiling the shampoo won’t clean the oil.
  •     The availability is a problem as it’s available at specific stores only.
  •     Does not provide volume to the hair.

Rating: 4.5/5. I would definitely re-purchase it as it reduces hair fall.
