The opulent Vogue wedding show had many designers present the luxurious and the best of wedding wear. We loved the clothes, the jewellery, the whole vibe at the Vogue wedding show. We met up with designer Anju Modi and talked bridal wear basics every bride must know:

Bridal trends 2015: The bridal trends are evolving this year so we are seeing a lit of mix and match of fabrics, prints and drapes.

Bridal ensemble colours: While reds and pinks will always rule the bridal wear. We see creams, greens and blues being mixed into the blend now. The classic red is still seen as bridal wear but many people are now picking dull golds and blues instead.

Net vs other fabrics: Net has always been the main bridal lengha fabric because its easier to maintain and volumize. In fact from the Victorian era net has been used to get the perfect wedding outfit. Net will remain a favourite with the customers and the designers but velvet and silk has also been used this year. I have a velvet coat and lengha combination.

How to style your wedding lengha: Always emphasis on your best parts. If you are top heavy choose a busy detailed bustier to camouflage it. If you are heavy in the middle we make sure to cut the choli in a way that it cuts your weight too.

Love to dress up: I would love to dress up Deepika Padukone on her wedding. Apart from Bollywood I want to dress up Indian girls worldwide.
