Fashion rules all divas should know

Rekha

There are many do’s and don’ts when it comes to fashion. But some basic styles know how’s can take you from being trendy to stylish. We list the common things most Indian women ignore:

Never wear red to a wedding: This goes for all bridal functions. Never try to upstage the bride. This is her special moment not yours refrain from this competition. Wear dark colours but try not to match your outfit with the bride. Your wedding lengha is best kept in the closet than at your BFF’s wedding. Still if you feel like wearing it, keep the hair and makeup simple.

Pajamas are for sleeping or gyming: There are many ladies who wear sweat pants to shopping. To top this they add stilettos, a bag and makeup to dress them up! Sweat pants can never look good. Period. Wear them to the gym and your bed only.

Overdressed is better than under dressed: Even if you look a bit OTT it is better than looking frumpy. Dress up nicely whenever you step out. You never know where you go later. Any one will pick a chic look over frumpy dressed woman. Never ever under dress!

Lingerie is underwear: Flaunting bra straps or visible panty lines are as alluring as men itching their crotch! Wear thongs to avoid visible panty lines and strapless bras for a neater look. Also wear a camisole under sheer tee shirts.

Denim on denim is bad taste: Actually it is poor, unclassy and no taste at all. Stick to one denim item per dress up! Including accessories like denim belts, bags, shoes or watches.
