During the lockdown, the police officials are coming up with many out of the box ideas to educate people on the precautionary measures and how to keep themselves safe. From dancing to demonstrate how to wash hands to fight coronavirus, to wearing coronavirus inspired helmets, the police forces around the world are showing their quirky side. They are not only out on streets but also upping their social media game. Check out the list of quirky ideas taken up by cops to create awareness about coronavirus:

  • Kerala hand wash the dance


To create awareness about washing hands, Kerala police came up with a handwashing themed dance showing how people should wash their hands.

  • Police wearing coronavirus inspired helmet

A Chennai cop gained attention when a video of him wearing a “corona helmet” went viral. The helmet is covered in red spikes with bulbs on the end, just like the microscopic image of the coronavirus.

Bengaluru Police urged people to stay indoors doing a skit and they used corona helmet in it. A police officer wearing a helmet resembling the coronavirus sits pillion while another dressed similarly runs up and begins troubling the man riding the motorcycle. The rider is then made to wear the helmet, which shows that he is taking the virus with him.

In another video from Bengaluru, Tabarak Fathima, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) found a melodious way to urge people to stay home. She started singing and others joined her.
