Books and inculcating good reading habits is a must especially in younger children. In today’s gadget prone world books are taking a backseat. This makes it difficult for children to adjust in school as well. We suggest you start with soft cloth books at 5 months. And proceed to board books before trying story books. Beebop by Harper Books is awesome.

The stories revolve around Beebop who is a magical bee and helps Sarah, Zoya, Zubin and Jay bond. They also have a puppy called Chalk.

The Beepbop book Series are in 3 levels the beginning to read ones work beautifully for my 2 year old who loves to look at the pictures as I narrate the story. They have accompanying activity books which I believe a preschooler can use.

The books have beautiful illustrations, bright, colorful and realistic enough to make my tot identify the animals.

The language is simple and uses repetitive words to make it easier to comprehend.

I would suggest moms with toddlers and above to try these book as they are great at memory building. This surely gets a Mommy’s thumbs up.
