Yes, the day has arrived when you get all dressed in those royal red bridal wear with heavy makeup and beautiful jewellery. Becoming a bride is once in a lifetime opportunity for most women. Sometimes small accidents can mar the event making you frustrated. Much like Rinki Sinha who got married last fall, “The ceremony was going great until I realised I was sweating too much and the makeup got cracked. Imagine I looked more like a Halloween character than a bride. Plus I was not carrying my compact, I had to make do with my friend’s compact which was at least two shades lighter. I hate looking at those photos!”

Many of us face similar problems and in such situations the bridesmaid comes to rescue. Team AAW lists few things that a bridesmaid should keep in her clutch to save the bride from getting embarrassed.

Wipes: Wipes are must have, from random spill ups to a quick cleaning of makeup, wipes are multipurpose. Also they are great in cleaning up that excessive sindhoor post the wedding rituals.

Your phone: The wedding photos from a photographer take time and the pictures by most friends are not great, this is where your bridesmaid can help. Click lots of selfies and she can click you during those important moments of your life, after all she knows whats your favourite clicking style!

Safety pin: From a loose end of your dupatta to a small nag on that expensive lengha, a safety pin is a must. She can also keep a jura pin or two too!

Loose powder: A loose powder is your friend. From helping the makeup set to clear the excess oil from face, a loose powder can solve many issues. A translucent powder can be used by you and your bestie both.

A perfume tester: Please be cheap enough to ask for a few when you go perfume shopping the next time. Not only do they look cute but they are great when you have space issues in your bag and cannot carry the whole bottle.
