In many Indian households it has become a habit to watch the telly while having food. In fact table conversations have stopped and everyone is busy staring at the television (and smart phones). A new study has confirmed what our parents buggered about not watching TV and eating.

The study states that eating while watching TV or working at desk could lead to excess weight gain because we are not aware of how much we have eaten. In fact most people do not even register the taste, texture and people around them when they are eating and watching TV.

So to lose weight, switch off your TV and phone and concentrate on eating a small healthy portion.
