Every one stresses on increasing your water intake, but many of us find it difficult to start having more water.  Drinking water helps keep you hydrated while flushing out toxins. Some studies say that it even helps in weight loss. Here are ways to start having more water:

Get a water bottle or sipper: Buy the cutest water sipper you can find. A glass can be tiresome and boring. A colourful sipper will be fun and you will feel like having more water.

Keep water near you: Keeping a bottle with you will make it easier to have more water. Carry a bottle in your handbag and always keep on at your work desk.

Add fruit: Studies say adding cucumber slices, orange or lemon slices make the water act as a fat flush while changing their taste. You can also add strawberries or cherries. But refrain from adding fruit squash mixes.

Use a straw: A straw helps you sip more water than gulping it down in one go.

Have water first: Every time you feel the need for a cold drink opt for a glass of chilled water over aerated drinks, iced teas or squashes.

Drink water before meals: Have two glasses of cold water 20 minutes before you have a meal. Cold water acts as a suppressant and makes you eat less. You can also have a cup of warm water 45 minutes after your meal.

Nothing can hydrate you the way water does, also summers in India mean you sweat a lot. So have a glass of chilled water after reading this one!
