Surprise your loved one over the weekend with some handmade chocolates. Don’t worry, it’s very simple and easy to make yummy chocolates. You can make a variety of them in a jiffy. Here are some easy and interesting recipes:

Ingredients

Any dark chocolate compound (available in the market)

Microwave safe bowl

Unsalted Almonds, Cashew and Peanuts

Strawberries

Method

Keep the chocolate compound on room temperature for 30 minutes.

Put it in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds and mix with a spoon.

Keep repeating to melt the chocolate to a smooth liquid.

Take it out of the microwave and mix well.

Chop roasted almonds and cashews. Add some melted chocolate to it and mix well. Pick small quantity of this mixture with a spoon and put it on a plate and let it freeze for thirty minutes.

For nutties

Dip whole roasted almonds, peanuts, cashew or hazelnuts in the chocolate till completely covered. Place them on a plate and freeze.

Strawberry

For variety dip half of the strawberry in the chocolate and freeze. Use a toothpick for dipping it in melted chocolate.

Other Options

Pour melted chocolate in plastic moulds and freeze. Plastic moulds for chocolates are easily available in the market. Pick heart shaped ones for valentines.

Tip: Don’t melt the chocolate on high temperature for long and keep a check. Chocolate can burn easily.

Don’t overlap the nutties on the plate. Place them at a distance.
