To celebrate this amazing creature in our lives, the world celebrated National Dog Day on the 26th of August 2016. Even though loving your dog doesn’t need a day but still this day celebrates all breeds of dogs, whether pure or mixed. It honors family dogs, service dogs and dogs that selflessly work to protect and comfort us. They are noble creatures who love us with all their heart.
The National Dog Day foundation recommends that you celebrate this day by adopting a dog from a rescue home, do something that the dog enjoys and just spend the day together.
