The stress and trauma may be responsible for this and the body takes its time to come back to a normal state. However, there are a few things that can be done to reduce hair fall and strengthen your hair. Here are five ways to deal with hair thinning, hair loss, bald patches and other related issues

  1. Identify the underlying cause

Sometimes the hair fall may be a result of hormonal imbalance or a health issue. Get yourself checked and find out if there is any particular reason you are experiencing heavy hair fall.

2. Nourish your body and improve eating habits

Your body needs to recover well and for that, it is important to take care of all the nutritional needs. Take a look at your eating habits and which food groups are missing from your diet and how can you include more healthy fats, sufficient protein and enough carbohydrates in your diet.

3. Be more gentle with your hair

Since your hair is already sensitive, be gentle with your hair. Brush your hair softly, avoid tugging your hair and don’t tie your hair too tightly.

4. Take supplements

As per the instructions of your doctor, take supplements for your hair loss. It can help with hair damage, hair growth and make the process faster.

5. Talk to a dermatologist

If your hair loss is getting a bit out of hand, make sure to speak to a doctor to understand how you can get it treated. They will also be able to guide you the best and suggest treatment accordingly.
