Alia learning Tamilian mannerisms for 2 States

Actress Alia Bhatt is leaving no stone unturned for her second movie ‘2 states’. The actress plays a Tamilian girl in the movie.

The actress is not just trying to learn the accent but is also keen on learning the household culture of Tamilians. Alia Bhat will play the role of a Tamil Iyengar girl for the movie. Reports say Alia has even hired a Tamilian teacher to help her adapt to south Indian culture.

The film is based on Chetan Bagat’s popular novel ‘2 States: The Story of My Marriage’. The story revolves around a Punjabi boy who falls for a Tamil girl, and the cultural clashes between their families.

Alia will feature opposite Arjun Kapoor in the film.
