The 48th edition of International Emmy Awards 2019 recently took place in New York and Bollywood celebrities made a fabulous appearance on the red carpet. Radhika Apte was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Lust Stories and she looked gorgeous in a laser-cut Iris van Herpen dress. Apart from Radhika Apte, Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap, Nawauddin Siddiqui, Zoya Akhtar, and Dibakar Banerjee, also walked the red carpet on Monday night.
Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap bumped into the creators and producers of Game Of Thrones David Benioff and D. B. Weiss, who were also the part of the jury for a special Founders Award. Karan Johar’s excitement spilled onto Twitter, where he shared a photo of the meeting and wrote: “Honoured to have met Game Of Thrones’ prolific producers! David Benioff and D. B. Weiss at the International Emmy Awards.”

Sacred Games was nominated for the Best Drama Series but lost to Safe Harbour. Though Nawazuddin Siddiqui had another reason to celebrate as his other show, McMafia won the International Emmy for Drama Series. The actor plays an Indian businessman Dilly Mahmood on the show.
