Bollywood drug case! What about the core issue?

Check out updates on the Sushant case and drug probe:

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has questioned Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan, and Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash for over five hours on Saturday because of its investigation into a purported “drug nexus” in Bollywood. Deepika Padukone arrived in Mumbai and was questioned by the NCB, she was summoned after some chats were highlighted alleging that she was the admin of a group where drugs were discussed.

Deepika Padukone denied consuming or procuring drugs during her questioning by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Saturday. The actor had been confronted with her chats where she was seen asking for ‘maal’ and ‘hash’, during her interrogation, and had accepted them, but the NCB team is not satisfied with the responses.

Now, netizens have come in support of Deepika Padukone and trended the hashtag #StandWithDeepika in connection to the drug angel being probed in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Check out their reactions:

Meanwhile, Shraddha Kapoor has admitted to drug chats and attending parties but denied consuming drugs. Sara Ali Khan is also being interrogated on the lines of Kedarnath film shoot, Thailand trip, and parties at the late actor’s farmhouse.

After looking at the findings of the case, it looks like the NCB has diverted the attention to drug use from Sushant Singh’s death. It also seems like Sushant’s family also feels that the investigation is going in the wrong direction.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti wrote from her unverified Twitter account, “We have been so patient for so long! How long will it take to find the truth? #SSRDeathCase.”

The CBI started investigating Sushant’s death in August after the Mumbai Police had concluded that the actor died through suicide. Subsequently, NCB and ED have also been roped in to help in the probe.

However, until now there is no revelation about Sushant’s death.
