Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and director Sanjay Gupta showcased their new film Jazbaa at the 68th Cannes Film Festival. Aishwarya looked stunning in the maroon strapless Oscar de la Renta gown. Aishwarya kept it simple with drop earrings and delicate rings with a single bangle.
The first poster of the film was released earlier in the day and the trailer will be launched in Mumbai later. Earlier Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine which Aishwarya eventually had to exit when she announced she was pregnant was also being showcased at Cannes.
Jazbaa, is Ash’s comeback filmafter she had taken a sabbatical post the birth of her daughter Aaradhya. The film, which will see her playing a lawyer, also stars Irrfan Khan, Shabana Azmi, Anupam Kher and Jackie Shroff among others.The script of Jazbaa is said to be inspired by a Korean film called Seven Days
