Farah Khan reveals Orry’s family owns his entire Mumbai building and changes furniture for every party!
Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently treated her YouTube viewers to a rare glimpse inside the home of social media’s most mysterious and talked-about personality — Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry. Since 2023, the question “Who is Orry?” has dominated the internet, and now, Farah has given fans a peek into his equally fascinating Mumbai home.
Orry’s residence reflects his flamboyant personality — designed in a sleek black-and-white theme with marble flooring, whitewashed walls, and chic minimal décor. During the tour, Orry revealed that his family owns the entire building.

“This is my family house — the whole building belongs to us,” he said modestly, as Farah teased her cook Dilip, joking, “They are very rich!”
Interestingly, Orry shared that he once felt embarrassed by the building’s old exterior.
“I never called friends over because the building looks scary from outside. I felt shy. But now, I don’t care — I host too many parties here,” he laughed.
Farah playfully rolled her eyes and quipped, “Somebody please listen to his struggle story!”
The fun continued when Farah noticed a table piled high with phone cases. “What is this? A Halloween party?” she teased. Orry explained,
“No, when I wake up, the first thing I do is pick a phone case for the day. This is just one station — I have many more.”
He joked that he even sends his used cases to Uorfi Javed so she can turn them into outfits.
Dilip, picking up one shaped like a slipper, laughed, “Yeh chappal mere bachche ko aajayega!”

Many of Orry’s phone cases are designed by artists. While people often urge him to launch his own brand, he insists,
“When you turn your passion into work, you stop loving it.”
Farah was also allowed a rare look inside Orry’s bedroom, a space he usually keeps private.
“My astrologer told me not to show it to anyone, but he made an exception for you,” Orry said.
Inside, Farah spotted his now-iconic lobster bag and exclaimed, “This must have cost at least four lakhs!” Orry quickly clarified, “It wasn’t expensive — it was a gift.” Dilip, unimpressed, joked, “Buy live crabs from the fish market instead!”
His closet proved equally fascinating — neatly arranged and divided by season.
“I have different wardrobes for winters, monsoons, and summers,” Orry explained.
Farah complimented his organization, to which he confessed, “I mess it up daily, but before I return, I want it spotless. My help, Jannat, takes care of it — she’s been with me for five years, long before all this fame.”

Many of Orry’s outfits and accessories, he revealed, are gifts from friends.
“People give me clothes, sometimes even jewellery to match,” he smiled.
Farah, wide-eyed, exclaimed, “Who are these friends? I need friends like that too!”
In one of the rooms, dubbed “the most expressive part of the house,” Orry showed the only area where photo frames are allowed.
“We don’t keep pictures elsewhere. In my family, we believe memories are the worst things you can make — they fade, and even recalling them makes you sad,” he shared thoughtfully.
Orry also opened up about his family dynamics, saying that while they all live in the same building, his brothers are based in the US.
“We have single-child syndrome, so we come here one by one,” he laughed.
He even admitted to swapping parts of the house with his parents: “This side was theirs, but I traded it and sent them to the other side.”

Farah was amused by Orry’s party lounge, which, despite its grandeur, he claims he’s never used.
“Whenever we host parties, I change all the furniture to match the theme,” Orry said casually.
He then guided Farah to what he calls “the smallest room in the house” — his kitchen — before ending the tour with a look through his personal photo collection.
From Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone to Katrina Kaif, Nita Ambani, MS Dhoni, Kylie Jenner, Janhvi Kapoor, and Aryan Khan, Orry’s gallery was a star-studded affair. However, he clarified,
“I don’t have a picture with Shah Rukh Khan or Kajol. I don’t take photos with the parents of my friends — it’s in bad taste.”
When Farah cheekily asked about Boney Kapoor, Orry smiled and replied, “But Boney Kapoor is my direct friend.”
