Inside Pics: Malaika Arora’s Juhu Restaurant!

Check out the pictures and details of Malaika Arora’s new restaurant in Juhu:

After launching her first restaurant inside a charming 90-year-old Indo-Portuguese bungalow in Bandra, former VJ and reality TV judge Malaika Arora is now gearing up to open another branch of Scarlett House in Mumbai’s Juhu.

In an Instagram post on August 6, Malaika shared a video announcing the new outlet, writing, “Bringing the Scarlett love from Bandra to Juhu. Welcome to our home, the Scarlett House Juhu.”

Nestled by the sea, the Juhu outlet of Scarlett House exudes timeless elegance, featuring a stunning open glasshouse roof that floods the space with natural light and blends the beauty of the outdoors seamlessly into the restaurant’s ambiance.

Like the Bandra outlet, the new Scarlett House in Juhu features a hydration bar with “drinks” inspired by recipes from Malaika Arora’s own kitchen.

Warm, inviting, and full of charm, the interiors of Scarlett House strike a perfect balance between vintage and modern design. The space features red brick walls, lush greenery, cozy printed sofas, elegant chandeliers, cane chairs, marble-top tables, photo-worthy corners, wooden ceiling beams, and matching wooden furniture that ties the look together.

Speaking about the inspiration behind the menu and the restaurant’s vibe, Malaika Arora shared, “The food is inspired by dishes I love to cook in my own kitchen and enjoy during my travels. My team even jokes it should be called ‘Mala’s Specialist.’ We’ve put together a cocktail menu that’s playful, thoughtful, and tells a story with every sip. Plus, we have India’s first hydration bar that’s a must-try. Scarlett House is deeply rooted in community, with Arhaan (her son) bringing in his energy and contributing to shaping our coffee program.”

Arora, who admits she enjoys tequila, mezcals, and fiery picante cocktails only on rare occasions, describes herself as “more into things that are healthier and organic.” She adds, “I’m not big on juicing because I feel you lose the essence of actually eating the fruit or vegetable when you juice it. The hydration bar menu here isn’t just about juicing — it’s about infusing water with good ingredients. Whether it’s celery, aloe vera, chia seeds, a hint of chili, or even cayenne pepper in the Immunity Booster drink, each is designed to nourish.”

Unlike IV drip bars — which offer intravenous vitamin and mineral infusions — the Scarlett House hydration bar serves a curated menu of nine water- and juice-based beverages, each labeled with its intended benefit: Anti-Ageing, Hangover Remedy, Healthy Hair, Immunity Booster, The Healer, Cleanse and Purify, Focussed Forest, and Soothe Bloating.

The drinks are priced at ₹350 (plus taxes) per bottle for infused waters and ₹420–₹450 for juices, and come in pauwa or 180 ml bottles — a playful nod to the containers traditionally used for country-made liquor in India, though Scarlett House isn’t the first to give them a chic, contemporary spin.
