Sunny Leone in Ragini MMS2

The baby doll is back in a sensuous horror avatar with Ragini MMS 2. This is Sunny Leone’s second masala film and she doesn’t let you down. This is a sequel to the horror Ragini MMS but Ekta Kapoor smartly markets it as a ‘horrex’ (horror+sex) genre.

Here’s our take on Sunny Leone starrer Ragini MMS:

Rating: 3/5

Cast: Sunny Leone, Parvin Dabas, Sandhya Mridul, Karan Mehra, Saahil Prem, Divya Dutta

Director: Bhushan Patel

Story: Ragini MMS 2 is a ‘horrex’ (horror+sex) film! And the story starts with its prequel, Ragini has been locked up in an asylum. Parvin Dabas is a director who wants to make a film based on her story with Sunny Leone as the lead. He wants to shoot at the same location where the supernatural incident took place. A writer working on the project senses something wrong and what follows is spooky moments, sex and a scary climax.

Music Review: The music of Ragini MMS is good. Meet Brothers Anjjan and Kanika Kapoor’s urban Punjabi item number Baby doll starring Sunny Leone is already topping the charts. There is a remix version of Baby doll as well. Chaar Bottle vodka sung by none other than Yo Yo Honey Singh has foot tapping music and quirky lyrics. Maine khud ko is a sad romantic number and Lori of death by  Arpita Chakraborty is disappointing and fails to create an impact. The lyrics are composed by Manoj Yadav, Kumaar and Ustad Bhagdarh Ali Khan Sahab

Why you should watch Ragini MMS 2: The story is well written, which is usually not the case with horror movies. The cliches weird sounds, shadows are all there but it still makes for an interesting watch.

Also unlike many sequels, this one really begins where Ragini MMS ended. The make up and VFX are amazing and probably the one of the best used in India.

Surprisingly Leone manages to light up the screen with her risque act and acting skills.

Why you should miss Ragini MMS 2: Creaking doors, background music, muffled voices in the corridor which spell typical indian horror movies is annoying. Why can Indian directors forgo this fake masala?

Sandhya Mridul’s act is annoying and Divya Dutta’s doctor act falls flat. The ending is predictable with mantras etc to to resolve the possession.

Special mention: Sunny Leone sizzles, there is a lots of skin show with a fake orgasm or two act by the porn star!

Dialogues like most horror movies are outrageous and need a special mention like ‘tum porno se Rituporno kab ban gayi?’
