Taliban takes over Afghanistan after the president flees the country.
Many citizens from Kabul were seen at Hamid Karzai International Airport after the Taliban took over the capital city. This happened after Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country. Taliban took control soon and the US sent in troops and helicopters to remove diplomats from the embassy in Kabul.
People in the US were warned against using Kabul airport as there were reports of violence. This chaotic and concerning incident was captured by a few people and shared on social media. Take a look at them below.

Many people were seen gathered trying to get to the airport and one US cargo plane was also present. Some people were also seen rushing to the banks to withdraw money before the city closed up.
