Things which you must include in your Diwali shopping list:
Every year Diwali comes with lots of excitement and happiness, it is not only a traditional festival but also a shopping festival. All of us visit different markets to shop for various materials that we need. To avoid the rush, some planning is to be done which requires noting down things. So here is the list of things you should buy when you go shopping for Diwali.
Clothes for Diwali
This is most important and obvious thing. Buying new clothes on Diwali is a very old tradition, the whole family dresses up in ethnic wear. We usually start planning about the designs and types from a long time. Do not forget to buy new clothes for yourself and your family as Diwali shopping is incomplete without it.
Diwali gifts for relatives
Diwali is a festival of exchanging joy and gifts; it becomes even more special by spreading happiness through gifts. Exchanging sweets and gifts is the best gesture to show your love to family and friends. Some gifts that you can give are Clothes, Idols of gods, chocolates and gift cards etc.
It is one of the main purchases of the festival. Jewelry should be purchased on Diwali as it is the festival of Goddess Laxmi and buying jewelry symbolizes the blessings that she showers on you. Women always love to buy ornaments and this is the best time of the year.
Diwali decoration items include home decoration things like door hangings, lanterns, lampshades, and paintings etc. You can buy bowls in different sizes and fill them with flowers and floating candles for decoration. On Diwali day flower decoration is done in the home. Do not forget to bring Rangoli colors.
Diwali is a festival of lights, how can we not include this item in the list. These days various types and shapes of lights and blubs are available in the market. The main purpose of decorating with lights is to light up the whole country in happiness.
For kids, Diwali is incomplete without crackers. They love to burn them on the festival. In markets there is a huge variety of crackers available, just be careful before buying them. While many of us prefer a cracker free diwali, and the government too has banned it’s sale, try getting few of them only.
On this auspicious festival, you can invest on new things like A car, a new mobile phone or new can invest in a new property as well.
