Symptoms of Dengue

  • High fever and chills are the most common symptoms.
  • Body ache and continuous pain in legs, joints and head. It moves to eyes too.
  • The patients suffer nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite
  • Children may experience severe back pain as well.
  • Minor bleeding is also seen in some cases.

Do’s and don’t

  • The first and foremost thing is to keep the house and surroundings clean.
  • Clean the damp places in the house regularly.
  • As soon as you notice symptoms consult a doctor and do not try to self-medicate.
  • Change the water in flower pots regularly.
  • Avoid stagnant water around the house and the surrounding areas.
  • Cover water tanks and clean them at regular intervals.
  • Take healthy food in your diet to develop a strong immune system.
