Located approx 13 kms before Rohtang pass lays Marhi. The snow covered mountains; scenic beauty, activities and mesmerizing food aroma would make you fall in love. It is an incredible experience. To make your trip better and more enjoyable, here is some inside dope.
Activities
Tube Ride: Sit on a tyre-tube and slide across the snowy slopes. You can control the speed with a rope. It costs aproxx. Rs 100 per couple.
Click pictures with rabbits or yak: You will have to pay the charges for the animals, so click some nice pictures in various poses with them. You can click multiple pictures. It costs about Rs 30 per animal.
Sleigh ride: This desi sleigh ride is fun. But it is manual so don’t wait for the reindeers to appear It costs about Rs 300 per couple.

Food
There are couple of food outlets serving the usual hill station fan-fare, maggi, bread-omelette and butter-toast. Tea, coffee and packed juices are also available. Fruit chat for the health conscious is also available.
Beer lovers can enjoy chilled beer available at few outlets. Walk a few steps towards the valley, near the waterfall, to relish hot pakoras and parantha and other eatables. Sit on the stones and enjoy the food. Don’t miss corn-cob, it’s an absolutely different taste.
How to reach
Located 39 kms away from Manali, you can simply hire a taxi to reach to this place. An innova taxi costs about 1500 to 2000 rupees depending on the season!
