The Delhi gang rape girl who lost her battle for life after 13 days of struggle was cremated this morning in south-west Delhi. Her body was brought around 3.30 am at her residence in a special aircraft.
After performing rituals at home, the body was taken to the crematorium in an ambulance with security arrangements.
The cremation was planned for 6.30 am but according to Hindu traditions such rituals cannot be performed before sunrise so at 7.30 am victim’s father lit the funeral pyre in the presence of family.
