Sweaty summers often lead to itchy scalp. Itchy scalp can be a uncomfortable and awkward too. Here are  few easy and natural ways to cure an itchy scalp.

Tea tree oil: Make your own shampoo for itchy scalp by mixing 15-20 drops tea tree oil with half a cup of any gentle shampoo.

Baking soda: Make a thin paste with baking soda and water. Apply on the scalp with a cotton pad, leave for about 10-15 minutes and then wash it out properly and get back your healthy scalp.

Aloe vera: To cure an itchy scalp simply tear open one leaf and apply the gel to your scalp. Leave for half an hour and wash.

Apple cider vinegar: Mix ¼ cup apple cider vinegar with equal amount of water and put into a spray bottle. Simply spritz your hair with this mixture and massage on your scalp. Wash after 15 minutes.

Lemon juice: Lemon can practically cure almost everything, for an itchy scalp use 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice and massage on the scalp. Rinse after 5 minutes with water. But be careful as lemon is a bleaching agent and can lighten your hair colour, also if you have wounds lemon will sting badly.

Avocado and banana hair pack: This is for dry scalp beauties, as it can be nourishing and moisturising. Mash and mix 2 bananas with an avocado. Apply on your scalp with a cotton pad and leave on for 30 minutes. Shampoo thoroughly.
