A glittering evening as Shopclues launches its fashion segment
Last week we went to check out the all new Shopclues fashion collection and we were in for a surprise! The fashionable clothing and probably at the lowest prices were all available at Shopclues online. To many, like me, ShopClues is India’s first and largest online marketplace is about deals and majorly electronics. However, they are changing their avatar as they announced the launch of their new fashion category.
The fun evening at Café Nehle Pe Dehla was great with ShopClues showcasing the best of fashion. Along with great games, like Guess the price, dress the mannequin and hoop the trend challenge. And if you follow our Instastories, I won the the hoop challenge too.
We talked to Ritika Taneja, Director for fashion at ShopClues and my first query was that why this change of pace? In fact the online brand has launched “Modern Roots” where the product represents the various handicrafts of India such as pure indigo to mirror work fusion that range from INR 499 to 1599, complemented by the “Pink, Yellow and metallic” trend which is the current Bollywood favourite, starting from prices as low as INR 149! As for Men, we have specially curated collections like the layered Look, Smart Casuals and even Mood dressing. With some collections addressing the 9 to 5 Dressing and unique collections like the Flash Dance Shoulders for women, we are well on our way to becoming THE one-stop affordable fashion destination for our Indian consumers.
