Ayesha Takia’s husband claims that she has been getting threatening messages from a stalker:
Ayesha Takia is a well known Bollywood celebrity and now the actress has been suddenly receiving threatening messages. Her husband Abu Farhan Azmi tweeted on social media that his wife and 7 months pregnant sister has been receiving threatening messages: My wife @Ayeshatakia, mother & sisters are being harassed, threatened stalked by a litigant, @MumbaiPolice #dcpDahiya refusing to answer my calls or messages. #DahiyaIPS has illegally frozen our bank accounts Dear PM @narendramodi Ji @SushmaSwaraj Pls intervene!! #betibachao”

Farhan further shared that the matter was not being dealt with attention by the police, accusing Deputy Commissioner of Police Paramjit Singh of refusing to take calls to lodge his complaint.
According to her husband’s tweet, the Deputy Commissioner of Police was not answering his phone calls and messages. He also said that the police officer mentioned in his tweet froze their bank accounts illegally. He further shared the screenshots of his conversation with DCP which said: “You and your officers are helping this man harass my family and wife. I am calling you to complain and you are disconnecting my call.”

He also shared a screenshot with the number of calls disconnected by the police officials.

But later the matter was resolved as he received a call from Joint Commissioner of police, Deven Bharti, who confirmed that no one will touch him and his family. His tweet: “Thank you @DevenBhartiIPS Ji #MumbaiPolice for stepping in. I trust the Mumbai Police. 3 rotten apples cannot spoil #theappletree 🍎 @CPMumbaiPolice @MumbaiPolice”

The Khan family started getting threatening messages after an FIR was lodged against Farhan for fraud in business by a business partner only.
