The actress married her longtime boyfriend Anand Ahuja in a private and lavish ceremony on 8th May. The couple tied the knot as per traditional Sikh customs at Sonam’s aunt bungalow in Mumbai, later they hosted a reception at The Leela Hotel Mumbai. Their wedding was the talk of the town for quite a long time.

The wedding took place as per a Hindu and Christian ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Udaipur on 2nd and 3rd December 2018. It was an intimate ceremony with only close friends and family members, the couple later hosted wedding receptions in Mumbai and Delhi.

It was one of the most awaited weddings of the year. The couple got married as per traditional Hindu and Konkani ceremonies on 14 and 15th November in Lake Como, Italy. There were no shutterbugs at the wedding, later the couple released the photographs. The couple hosted three wedding receptions later.
