Every day there is something new trending on social media, and since then ‘I am so middle class’ has been trending after Rhea Chakraborty’s father Indrajit Chakraborty’s statement.
Actor Rhea Chakraborty’s father commented on his son’s arrest in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. He ‘congratulated’ the country for stepping close to ‘justice’ and destroying a ‘middle-class family’.
Indrajit Chakraborty said: “Congratulations India, you have arrested my son, I’m sure next on the line is my daughter and I don’t know who is next thereafter. You have effectively demolished a middle-class family. But of course for the sake of justice, everything is justified. Jai Hind.”
Showik was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the case on Friday night after which his sister and prime accused, Rhea was also summoned for questioning. Rhea is the main accused in the death of her live-in partner and actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Soon after this statement people started creating memes in relation with Maya Sarabhai from Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai. For the unaware people, the iconic character always taunted her daughter-in-law Monisha played by Rupali Ganguly as she was a middle-class person.
